Main Functions

The Forage Additives Global Marketing Communications Assistant will report to the Global Forage Additives Brand Manager. The primary responsibilities are to assist Global Brand Manager in daily tasks as well as in supporting local countries to execute marketing communication plans. The role will also involve delivering digital marketing projects, requiring management of social media channels as well as support for various company’s websites, including content placement, leading translation process of web pages and e-newsletter creation and diffusion. You will be expected to contribute and execute new ideas to improve Lallemand global forage business digital presence. This position has room for growth within digital marketing if the candidate shows expertise in this area.

This person must be proactive, have excellent interpersonal and English communication skills and the desire to work on a global team that is spread around the world. The ideal candidate would be willing to support the team wherever needed, but also have desire to grow within position with experience.

This Marketing Communications Assistant role is a full-time position based in Toulouse.

This position includes, but is not limited to:

  • Supporting and updating project planners and activity schedules.
  • Supporting marketing documentation development, adaptations and translations (Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint)
  • Managing files, photos and videos in internal documentation management system (WordPress) and on Sharepoint
  • Supporting webinar invitations, logistics, and analytics
  • Managing global promotional and technical tools orders and taking care of internal eshop
  • Formatting and diffusing e-newsletters
  • Planning, composing and scheduling posts on social media based on provided content
  • Creating videos in Lumen5 based on provided content
  • Monitoring and analyzing digital channels performance, suggesting possibilities for improvement and digital presence growth
  • Helping with coordination of local translations on global web sites
  • Assisting with web site content integration (WordPress) and SEO
  • Monitoring competitor activity

Technical skills


  • Bachelor degree required in Marketing/Digital communication/Administration
  • Must be able to demonstrate English writing and speaking capabilities

An asset

  • Experience with Word Press, CRM Marketing solutions, Microsoft Teams would be an asset
  • Skills in the use of Microsoft Powerpoint (Design) and Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator would be an asset
  • Agriculture (Dairy, Beef, Forage) biotechnology, science industry knowledge is a plus
