Customer Service Agent

Main Functions

  • Responsive order processing for domestic customers
  • Provide tracking of shipments and updating customers
  • Communicate frequently with internal/external customers and distribution sites
  • booking and liaising with freight carriers, LTL, FTL and Express courrier
  • Set priorities, achieve deadlines, and manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Invoicing responsibilities
  • Miscellaneous tasks upon request

Technical skills


  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college and/or eight years related customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with web based ordering/accounting systems

Personal abilities


  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess strong analytical skills
  • Great team spirit

General criteria


  • Strong problem solving, decision making, critical thinking and negotiations skills

An asset

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Logistic skill, Thorough understanding of transportation modes and solutions
