Global Communication Manager

Main Functions

The global Communication manager will report to the Business unit marketing director with frequent interactions with global product categories marketing teams, senior management team, R&D team, digital marketing team, local marketing com deployers in different countries and also other Business units marketing teams.

Tasks associated with this position include mainly external communication objectives:

  • Helps reinforce globally Lallemand Animal Nutrition brand visibility & Product portfolio/brands awareness.
  • Drive the annual corporate communication plan in collaboration with marketing director and manage corporate communication campaigns across all channels (paid earned, shared, owned).
  • Copywriting activities: corporate news flow and content related to the product categories (press releases, white papers, social media posts, technical articles...).
  • Media relations in a global B2B environment (animal production, feed and agribusiness media).
  • Content marketing strategy: support and advice the product marketing teams on their product campaigns: messaging and promotion aspects.
  • Create style guides and brand voice outlines for all public relations, marketing, advertising and other vital departments.
  • Managing the corporate newsletter : editorial planning, copywriting and diffusion.
  • Media relation and reporting on the company seminars and events.

Technical skills

Required

  • Master degree required in agriculture, marketing/communications, journalism or related field with a minimum of 5 + years of professional international experience
  • Good knowledge in Agriculture/ Animal Nutrition, Companion animals business, biotechnology, science industry
  • Experience in working with media
  • Excellent verbal & written communications skills in English
  • Copywriting/ Content marketing
  • Experience in leading and managing communications teams & projects

An asset

  • Proficiency in using various communication software and platforms such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative suite would be a plus.
