Main Functions

As an Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operates and monitors computer-controlled systems for molasses preparation, fermentation, separation, yeast packaging and storage.
  • Performs on-line process measurements to include pH and other analysis.
  • Sets up, operates, and monitors cleaning system equipment.
  • Maintains records relating to process operations, inventory control, maintenance reports and other related records and reports.
  • Performs preventive and emergency maintenance and other work as required.
  • Prepares packaging room for next day operations.
  • Load yeast cream trucks as required.
  • Responsible for the operations of the plant when assigned swing and night shifts.

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift

Expected hours:

  • 40 – 50 per week

Pay:

  • $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
