Maintenance Technician

Main Functions

As a Maintenance Technician your duties will include:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or malfunctions
  • Fabricate and weld parts as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Perform and document maintenance, calibration, installation, fault diagnosis, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems
  • Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair plant instrumentation i.e. transmitters, analyzers, control valves, switches, relays, etc.
  • Inspect, repair, and remove all types of generators, transformers, switches, control equipment, wiring, and electrical systems
  • Work with a wide variety of instruments including pH, conductivity, ultrasonic, guide wave radar, mass flow, pressure transducers, RTD's, etc.
  • Work with MCC's, PLC's, DCS, VFD's, and Safety Interlock Systems (SIS)
  • Maintain files, logs, and drawings for all designated instruments and electric equipment
  • Present a professional image at all times to clients and vendors and maintain a positive reputation of the company
  • Follow all relevant company policies and procedures
  • Assist other departments as necessary
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.


  • $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours:

  • 40 – 50 per week

Technical skills


  • Proficient in English (both written and verbal)
