Field Solutions & Marketing Assistant

Main Functions

The Field Solutions & Marketing Assistant works as part of the Field Solutions team, producing trial results and technical information to support the effective use of Lallemand Plant Care products in the sales area. In addition, the Field Solutions & Marketing Assistant works as sales support by producing marketing material and coordinating marketing communications that support sales goals.

Main responsabilities are:

Field testing:

  • Assists and participates in the implementation of commercial field trials, laboratory testing and experiments carried out in cooperation with research institutes/centers.
  • Participates in making observations and reporting test results.

Technical support:

  • Participates in production of technical documents such as product use programs and product presentations in cooperation with the sales team.

Marketing and communication:

  • Participates in the design, implementation, translation work and ordering of product brochures, newspaper announcements and business gifts.
  • Coordinates and implements the content and updating of website and social media.
  • Coordinates the implementation of the exhibition stands: plans and ensures the availability and up-to-date materials needed in the exhibitions.
  • Participates in implementation of webinars and email campaigning.

 

Technical skills

Required

  • A suitable bachelor's or master's degree or university of applied sciences degree in the field of plant production, biology or marketing
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in crop production, plant protection or marketing
  • Good knowledge of crop production and plant protection practices
  • Ability to produce suitable and professional text for marketing material purpose in Finnish and English
  • Good Microsoft 365 skills (especially OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of the InDesign program or the ability to learn how to use the program
  • Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Good teamwork skills and a flexible attitude
  • Ability to work under occasional rush and tight schedule pressure
  • Strong motivation to work in plant production and plant protection

General criteria

Required

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability and availibility to seasonally travel in Finland and abroad, approximatively 20% per year
  • Be willing to : Visits to greenhouse and open field farms, travel in Finland and abroad, plant protection products and organisms used in the farming environment, farm machines, preparations used in the laboratory. Normal office work.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions in greenhouses and in the open field.
