Business Intelligence Analyst

Main Functions

In collaboration with the multiple teams throughout the company, the IT Business Intelligence Analyst will participate in the definition, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions, to help the company evolve towards innovative decision support solutions.   In this role you must have an excellent ability to understand and translate business needs into effective solutions, both at the business and technical levels.   

Key objectives:

  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities and writing specifications
  • Work within a team to find, design and develop technological solutions to meet the needs of the company.
  • Act as an information source and communicator between business units.
  • Enhance the quality of IT products and services.
  • Analyze the design of technical systems and business models.
  • Utilize IT data for business insights.
  • Test, validate and analyze data to ensure that the solution meet the business requirements.
  • Implement and train business units upon completion of a project.
  • Efficiently identify and solve project issues.
  • Evaluate the overall system performance and propose improvements in line with priorities of the business units.
  • Produce reports on development and implementation.
  • Strong organizational, presentation and customer service skills.
  • Be an active participant in the areas of mentorship and knowledge sharing.

Technical skills


  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study
  • SQL Knowledge strongly preferred
  • Bilangual (french and English)
  • Good knowledge of accounting systems and strong manufacturing experience
