Forage and Ruminant Digital Assistant

Main Functions

The Forage Additives & Ruminant Digital Assistant will report to the Global Forage Additives Marketing Coordinator and will also assist the Global Ruminant Marketing team. The candidate will support two teams, who both have products in the dairy and beef markets. The primary responsibilities are to help facilitate file administration into global digital platforms, such as a documentation management system, photo /video library , e-learning platforms and eshop. This position also will support some digital marketing missions to increase our visibility including posting website content, e-newsletter creation and diffusion and coordinating social media posts.

This person must have excellent interpersonal and English communication skills and the desire to work on a global team that is spread around the world.

Administrative support associated with this position include but not limited to:

  • Managing files in internal documentation management system (Wordpress) and on Sharepoint;
  • Managing forage and ruminant photo and video files in a new library;
  • Supporting webinar invitations, logistics and analytics;
  • Assisting in optimizing internal organization in Microsoft Teams.

Digital marketing tasks include:

  • Formatting and diffusing e-newsletters;
  • Composing and scheduling posts on social media based on provided content;
  • Helping with coordination of local translations on global educational websites;
  • Assisting with website content integration (Wordpress);
  • Helping on improving look and feel Powerpoint presentations;
  • Updating/correcting product documentation (Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).


Technical skills


  • Bachelor degree required in Marketing/ data management / administration
  • Must be able to demonstrate English writing and speaking capabilities

An asset

  • Experience with Word Press, Microsoft Click Dimensions, Microsoft Teams would be an asset
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Powerpoint (Design) and Adobe Indesign would be an asset
  • Agriculture (Dairy, Beef, Forage) biotechnology, science industry knowledge is a plus
