Contract Manufacturing Project Manager

Main Functions

Reporting to the Contract Manufacturing Manager - North America, the Contract Manufacturing Project Manager - North America will coordinate the implementation of the subcontracting projects negotiated with the company's subcontractors, ensuring their success. (quantity, quality, deadlines) and internal or external customer satisfaction.

  • Coordinate new product launch projects in subcontracting;
  • Write specifications for new products and launch follow-up;
  • Prepare and verify product specifications;
  • Coordinate product development projects;
  • Identify and execute changes on marketed products to ensure compliance with evolving specifications;
  • Coordinate the actions to be carried out by the various services as well as the subcontractors, share the necessary information and follow the project to the end;
  • Create and maintain databases on marketed products and packaging items as well as any information sharing tool;
  • Develop the product nomenclature in the production monitoring system;
  • Provide suppliers and partners, on time and in the form provided, with the information necessary for the realization of the various projects;
  • Act as an interface mainly with production departments, LHS quality, sales and various subcontractors in North America;
  • Contribute to solving any quality problems in subcontracting in collaboration with the quality department of LHS;
  • Participate in projects related to continuous improvement on products, packaging items, procedures, or other;
  • Participate in all other related tasks.

Technical skills


  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Communicate with ease and tact, orally and in writing, in French and English
  • Possess 2-3 years of experience in project management, ideally in the food industry
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in science, project management, administration or related

An asset

  • Possess experience in manufacturing or in production management
