Customer Service and Logistics Assistant

Main Functions

 

The Customer Service and Logistics Assistant will report to the Supply Chain Manager North America.  Working place is a yeast production facility.

Key responsibilities include various tasks such as customer service backup, logistics, purchasing, accounting & H.R.

Tasks associated with this position also include but not limited to:

  • Prepare shipping documents
  • Request freight quotes and monitor to make sure using the most cost effective carrier
  • Schedule shipments and follow-up to ensure on-time pickups
  • Submit freight claims
  • Order and maintain packaging material inventory
  • Receive in  raw materials
  • Various accounts receivable and payable functions
  • Participate to monthly physical inventory
  • Customer service backup
  • Schedule production employees shift schedules and vacations
  • Various other H.R. duties (including payroll)

 

Technical skills
