Customer Service and Logistics, Assistant

Main Functions

Reporting to the Customer Service and Logistics Supervisor, the Logistics and Customer Service Assistant will be responsible for issuing documentation related to shipments in addition to tracking orders with sales representatives.

Responsibilities 

  • Prepare shipping documents, certificates of origin and packing slips in accordance with Canadian, American and international customs regulations, laws and formalities in collaboration with the customs broker;
  • Establish a pick-up schedule and coordinate the preparation of orders;
  • Coordinate the transport (air, sea and road) of the goods from and / or towards customers and suppliers and make the necessary follow-ups;
  • Keep customer files up to date;
  • Participate in the analysis and confirmation of orders, customer invoicing and follow-up with sales representatives;
  • Collaborate with the various internal departments of the company;
  • Respect good manufacturing practices, health and safety policies and CTPAT and air cargo policies;
  • Participate in different special mandates;
  • All other related tasks.

Technical skills

Required

  • Hold an attestation of college studies in logistics or related diploma;
  • Possess at least one (1) year of experience in a similar position;

Personal abilities

Required

  • Rigorous and thoroughness;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, in both French and English;
  • Favor teamwork and demonstrate autonomy.
  • Ability to manage priorities;
