Consolidation Analyst

Main Functions

Position Within the Financial Reporting team of the Lallemand Group

The Financial Reporting team of Lallemand reports to and works closely with the CFO and Global Controller, as well as the various business unit controllers, to produce timely, accurate and useful financial information.  This includes a monthly consolidation of the P&L, Balance sheet and statement of Cash Flows and other ad hoc analysis/reporting as required. The team participates in the quarterly reporting to the board of directors and is the key contact for the annual external audit of the consolidated results.

Reporting to Director of Financial Reporting, the consolidation analyst will be working in a small team on the monthly consolidation and management reporting. 

The consolidation analyst is responsible for:

  • Analyzing and preparing monthly consolidation journal entries
  • Performing Intercompany reconciliations
  • Participating in monthly and quarterly analysis.
  • Monthly internal publication of consolidated results
  • Participating in and preparing for the annual audit of the consolidated group
  • Maintaining and on-going optimization of consolidation software: The consolidation analyst will be relied upon to leverage the existing consolidation tool (IBM’s Cognos Controller) to facilitate data compilation, reconciliation and extraction for all users. Full training and support will be provided to the analyst to become the key contact regarding Cognos Controller.

Technical skills


  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Bilingual (English, French)
  • CPA designation
