Quality Assurance Assistant

Main Functions

To support the development of our Lallemand Plant Care business unit, our Quality Assurance team is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant.

As part of our global Quality Assurance team, the Quality Assurance Assistant will focus on documenting and supporting all activities of our Lallemand Plant Care business unit. This versatile position will also involve collaboration with the Quality Control, Production, Regulatory Affairs and R&D teams. The successful candidate will report to the QA Manager based in Brazil and the position will be located in our office in Piracicaba, Brazil.

The main tasks, without being limited to them, are:

  • Support the quality management system
    • Follow-up of quality management processes
      • Documentation (including labels and support for Regulatory Product registrations)
      • Standard Operation procedures
    • Edition and update of quality documentation
      • CoA (Certificates of Analysis)
      • SDS (Safety data sheets)
      • Statements and other certificates
      • Labels
      • Registration files
      • Manufacturing processes
  • Support management of complaints
  • Support data bases and quality
    • Recipe file
    • Quality documentation data base
  • Support the implementation of the quality control management system (LEMS)

Technical skills

Required

  • University degree (B.Sc. or equivalent) in Biotechnology, Microbiology or equivalent
  • Experience of one year in microbiology and quality system (or related field)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Relevant computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

An asset

  • Verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and/or Spanish
