ERP Developer

Main Functions

As an ERP programmer analyst within the enterprise IT ERP support / maintenance team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of new solutions for our internally developed ERP. You will be a key contributor in assessing business needs, defining requirements and developing programs. You will work closely with our business analysts and developers to develop new features and optimize existing systems.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Work with business analysts, internal users and IT management to determine, validate and document project requirements
  • Analysis, programming, testing, documentation and implementation of applications in the Lallemand ERP environment
  • Participate in all activities of the Agile development lifecycle: estimation, planning, design, development, documentation and testing.
  • Support users and other developers of the Unix ERP on all servers.
  • Create and provide adequate documentation for our ERP solutions

Technical skills

Required

  • Development training required, experience with compiled languages
  • The willingness to learn and master a new language and development environment is essential.

An asset

  • Knowledge of programming in an ERP environment preferably in Synergy DBL or COBOL
  • Knowledge of Linux or Unix
  • Experience with C # .NET and Visual Studio is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • Experience with ISAM files and GIT is an advantage
