Production Support OT/IT Network Engineer - Automation

Main Functions

Reporting to the Automation Systems Director, the candidate will be responsible for assisting the automation department with all aspects of Ethernet based control architectures.

The candidate will provide technical expertise in industrial control systems required for the automation process in several yeast manufacturing plants.

The candidate will also be responsible for bridging the gap between IT department, Cyber Security department and Automation department.

Technical skills

Required

  • ICS (Industrial Control System) knowledge.
  • SCADA/PLC networking architectures (e.g. redundant SCADA server setups, ring networks using protocols such as RSTP)
  • Researching current ICS vulnerabilities, (coordinate with automation group to have the appropriate threat mitigations applied within a timely manner.)
  • Industrial network troubleshooting: Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet protocols such as Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP
  • Experience & knowledge with tools such as Wireshark to troubleshoot & resolve network issues (ideally experience on industrial networks w/ industrial protocols.

An asset

  • Knowledge of Windows-based administration: 1-Manage User creations, ACL (Access Control lists), GPO’s (Group Policies). 2-Interact with Network team to open ports, connect to switches 3-Understand Cloud infrastructure.
