Project Assistant
Main functions
Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, the Project Assistant is called upon to perform various tasks related to the monitoring of current projects and the development of future projects.
Responsibilities:
- Plant surveys and drawings (mechanical installation, piping installation, plan view, etc.);
- Verification and validation of specifications and drawings;
- Follow up of installations and projects;
- Elaborate scope of work and quote request (RFQ);
- All other related tasks.
Technical skills
Required- Degree: Mechanical engineering technician or technical draftsman or other related study/experience;
- Bilingual (French & English);
- Knowledge of plant mechanics (piping, equipment: pumps, valves, exchanger, etc.);
- Software: AutoCAD/Draftsight, Microsoft Office Suite.
Asset- Experience: 0 to 4 years in the field of mechanical engineering;
- Knowledge in food process control equipment.

Raison d’être :
Relevant de l’Ingénieur de projet sénior, l’Assistant chargé de projet est appelé à occuper diverses tâches reliées au suivi des projets actuels et l’élaboration des projets futurs.
Responsabilités :
- Relevés d’usine et dessins (installation mécanique, installation tuyauterie, vue en plan, etc.) ;
- Vérification et validation de devis et dessins ;
- Suivi d’installations et de projets ;
- Rédaction de plan et devis ;
- Toutes autres taches connexes.
Compétences techniques
Required- Diplôme : Technicien(ne) en génie mécanique ou dessin(ateur) industriel ou tout autre étude/expérience équivalente;
- Bilingue (français & anglais);
- Connaissance de la mécanique d’usine (tuyauterie, équipement : pompes, valves, échangeur, etc.);
- Logiciels : AutoCAD/Draftsight, Suite Microsoft Office.
Asset- Expérience : (0 à 4 ans) dans le domaine génie mécanique;
- Connaissance dans les équipements de contrôle de procédé alimentaire.
