Sales Manager – China
Main functions
Reporting to the Business Manager, the Sales Manager is responsible for providing sales and marketing support and pursuing business development of their business in China.
Major Job Responsibilities: Business Development
- Prepare and follow up on objectives and action plans for the markets;
- Support existing customers and identify and develop new potential customers through the appropriate business development mix;
- Identification of local markets’ growth opportunities;
- Develop new customers thanks to science based approaches;
- Develop and follow up business plans with key customers, including the provision of marketing tools, training, presentation, etc;
- Acquire competition and market data;
- Prepare and follow up on annual sales and expense budgets;
- Update the Chinese health food and food regulation. Following up our products registration.

Technical skills
Required- Graduate in Life Science & Business;
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the Nutraceuticals/Consumer Health industry in positions of technical support or R&D. Training experience required;
- Mandarin and English languages must be fluent.
Personal skills
Required- Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability and experience in public talks;
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and ability to work with minimum supervision /with autonomy within a yearly budget and plan of action;
- Responsible, service-minded and motivated by challenges.
General criteria
Required- Willing to travel about 100 days annually /availability to travel 1 to 2 weeks per month, including international trips to the Lallemand international meetings or to accompany customer to plant visits;
- Education and training at our offices in Toulouse, France and Montreal, Canada;
- Driving License compulsory.
