Technical Marketing and Communications Intern
Main functions
Compensation – $15/hour
Work from home position – USA based position
Full time position (40 hours/week) for a 6 month period: March 15, 2021-September 15, 2021
This position is a unique, 6 months internship. It will consist of 3 months of guided work and 3 months of independent work in a technical marketing and communications position. The role will offer the employee a great amount of experience with many creative and technical aspects of marketing within the supplier sector of the brewing industry. This role will require an in-depth knowledge of the Lallemand Brewing branding guidelines, voice and portfolio – all provided. The primary functions of the job will be to train then manage:
- Print Advertising for the business unit (ensure deadlines are met, and ads are approved by team as needed);
- Technical Document Creation – Manage the creation of all technical documents, liaise with designers and technical team on creative design and edits;
- Technical Document Edits – including translations (copy provided), and edits as needed;
- Oversight of creative material creation for all projects, campaigns and product launches;
- Review content intended for external sharing (social media posts, E-blasts, press releases, etc.).

Technical skills
Required- Excellent communication skills, oral and written;
- Proficiency in MS Office (365/teams proficiency preferred);
- Ability to work remotely on a global team;
- Ability to manage many projects at one time;
- Computer Literacy; ability to operate computer equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams and Windows operating systems;
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, communications or Brewing related field, or minimum 2 years experience in the same fields.
- Proofreading/copywriting experience preferred.
Personal skills
Required- Ability to interact well with team members and all levels of management.
- Understanding of the brewing process, technical brewing;
- Interest in beer and brewing preferred.
