Maintenance Technician

Main Functions

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for preventive and breakdown-related maintenance/repairs of equipment and infrastructure to enable the production of yeast that meets Q standards.  Additionally, support with yeast packaging if required.

Tasks related to this role include, but are not limited to:

- Supporting and execution of  planned services, maintenance and repair work
- Supporting and execution in carrying out breakdown-related repairs and, if necessary, service and maintenance work
- Supporting and execution in repairs and maintenance in packaging of the finished product in various packaging sizes
- Carrying out cleaning work
- Dealing with deviations, if necessary after consultation with the plant management
- Commitment to quality management system including HACCP, food fraud and food defense

 

Technical skills

Required

• Appropriate apprenticeship or training e.g. but not limited to as a mechanic, precision mechanic, locksmith, electronics technician
• Professional experience required for a minimum of 3 years

An asset

• German language skills
• Forklift license desirable, welding license
