Reporting to the Category Manager, the Technical Support Manager supports the development of the Plant-Based culture portfolio and provides technical assistance to customers.
CUSTOMER TECHNICAL SUPPORT
- Assist the sales representatives on a technical and scientific level and accompany them on an ad hoc basis during customer visits;
- Present the technical aspects of the culture portfolio;
- Understand customer needs/expectations;
- Supervise and follow customer trials with the sales team;
- Train distributors on the culture portfolio and its applications.
CULTURE PORTFOLIO & MARKET
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the plant-based culture portfolio;
- Provide information on competition and new products to sales team/product manager;
- Participate and/or speak at conferences, seminars and trade fairs;
- Consolidate and leverage sales team market on LSC culture product experiences;
- Train internal sales team on the culture portfolio and its applications;
- Contribute to the definition of marketing actions;
- Write articles for specialized journals;
- Translate and adapt product materials according to market, customers and/or geographical areas La Ferté-sous-Jouarre (77) or Blagnac (31).
RELATIONSHIP WITH INTERNAL R&D / EXTERNAL TECHNICAL INSTITUTES
- Participate in the definition of the plant-based portfolio R&D plan;
- Contribute in setting-up and following-up application trials in collaboration with R&D;
- Facilitate product documentation by transforming R&D data into customer/user arguments;
- Be at the interface customer/R&D for technical requests.
