R&D Project Manager

Main Functions

In order to support the Animal Nutrition (LAN) business unit’s development, LALLEMAND SAS is seeking a Junior Ruminants R&D Project manager.

Part of the R&D team and reporting to the Applied R&D Manager, the Project manager will have the following principal roles and responsibilities:

Management of a selected number of R&D projects linked to ruminants nutrition and health:

  • Prospect for experimental facilities, design and discuss study protocols for business access purposes;
  • Write the efficacy section of registration dossiers;
  • Management of research collaboration (project management) with selected third parties related to existing solutions’ continuous documentation;
  • Participate in statistical analysis of applied research trials;
  • Prepare scientific summaries for the technical team;
  • Review and monitoring of the scientific literature related to the monitored projects;
  • Provide technical support to marketing and commercial team for commercial trials set-up and data analysis when required.

 

Technical skills

Required

  • Familiar with project management
  • Comfortable with experimental designs and statistical analyses
  • Mastering at least one of the main current statistical packages (SAS, SPSS, R Studio…);
  • Proficient in English (writing and speaking), any other language being a plus
  • MSc in animal sciences (ruminants) ; Engineer School of Agriculture/Agronomy (animal productions)
  • 1-2 years working experience in a R&D position in the feed industry or with feed additives is a plus
