Director of Operations

Main Functions

 

Role and Responsibilities:

• Planning production in terms of orders, demand forecasts and production constraints. 
• Oversees inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels to meet demand and take into account space constraints in the warehouse. 
• Participates in the development of the weekly shipping schedule.  
• Create and update production vouchers according to specific customer needs.  Update the associated file.  
• Ensure good coordination with the laboratory to ensure sufficient lead time is provided for release of products prior to shipment.
• Responsible for establishing and updating the raw material and packaging requirements plan.
• Perform supervision of logistics employees. 
• Assist the warehouse manager in managing and organizing the warehouse. 
• Recruit the necessary staff to ensure the proper functioning of its department.
• ERP Logistics Operations Manager
• Responsible for maintaining CTPAT certification. 
• Any other related tasks.

Technical skills

Required

• Degree in operations management and/or logistics
