Assistant Manager - ADY Planning

Main Functions

Collect data and update the main specialty yeast planning files with correct/current data

Maintain and upgrade the Macros VBA to fit any changes in data format

Provide additional ad hoc suppor to Director ADY Planning and/or Corporate Procurement, as needed

DAILY TASKS:

  • Update planning files  which are currently in Excel (ADY and Nutrients) with order status and packaging
  • Review back-orders status and follow up with customer service
  • Input received products from plants match with planning; update relevant planning files
  • Revise/create new BOM for all nutrients as needed
  • Assist Director ADY Planning, Product and Area Managers with information if needed
  • Integrate new products in Excel planning file and remove discontinued items
  • Monitor Stock levels, expiry date, bulk in Q (quality hold) and Bulk for mixing for all BU's
  • Correspond with different plants on production
  • Follow up on 125g packaging in Portugal

WEEKLY TASKS:

Bulk Production

  • Production updates for all plants
  • Quality Results Update
  • Follow up on QC release and rejection
  • Follow up on samples sent to customers for approval
  • Fredericia Packaging output
  • End of week Alert and Order Status report for all BU's
  • Review complaints

MONTHLY/YEARLY TASKS

  • Integrate Inventory and Sales update for end of period on main excel file for all BU's
  • Brewing stock and expiry date monthly report for SG
  • Yearly budget and forecast update on the main excel files
  • Create new files for each new fiscal year and upload on sharepoint

Technical skills

Required

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, ability to manage complex macros, etc.
  • Written and verbal proficiency with English langauge

An asset

  • 4-year degree in supply chain or related area
  • Written and verbal proficiency with French language

Personal abilities

Required

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate cross-functionally with SC, Sales, BU leadership
  • Attention to detail, ability to accurately manage critical data and details, especially within Excel
  • Ability to multi-task, deliver against multiple deadlines
  • Self-starter, can be counted on to work independently

General criteria

Required

  • Some travel may be required during on-boarding, but generally will be less than 10%

An asset

  • Preferred location in Fredericia, Denmark; other locations can be considered, but working hours are aligned with those in Central European time zone
