Microbiology laboratory analyst

Main Functions

  • Perform microbiological analyses on raw materials, in-process and finished products;
  • Conduct stability and wayer studies, using pharmacopoeial methods such as pathogen research;
  • Microbial count of mesophilic microorganisms;
  • Environmental monitoring;
  • Review and development of area procedures;
  • Preparation of culture media, solutions and reagents.

Technical skills

Required

  • Higher education in Pharmacy, Biology, Biomedicine or related areas
  • Experience in food, human or veterinary pharmaceutical industries
  • Knowledge of GMP, BLP, IN's, RDC's standards
  • Use of pharmacopoeias and other literature
  • Intermediate Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
