Senior Financial Analyst

Main Functions

Reporting to the Assistant Controller – Danstar Ferment AG, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in the preparation of financial statements, internal control compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This position offers broad exposure to operations, industrial challenges, and a multi‑entity international environment, with strong opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for group reporting purposes
• Prepare and analyze annual financial statements for group and entity reportings
• Participate in the preparation and review of the documentation to be presented for the external audit
• Maintain, document, and enhance internal controls
• Contribute to ad hoc analyses, cross‑functional projects, and continuous improvement initiatives (process optimization, automation, data quality)

Technical skills

Required

• Advanced proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

An asset

• Knowledge of Power BI, an ERP system, and/or a reporting tool
• Experience in a multi entity, multi currency environment
