Reviews customer orders, validates pricing based on freight tables, routes, and requested quantities, and verifies invoices and charges issued to Lallemand to ensure cost accuracy and compliance.
Plans product shipments between company locations and customers, organizing and monitoring logistics activities to ensure on-time deliveries. Assesses customer requirements, transportation costs, and optimization opportunities, conducting freight quotations and selecting the most cost-effective and efficient transportation modes.
Supports the development of logistics plans, route optimization, and resource allocation, while coordinating freight quotations and negotiations with carriers. Ensures all logistics processes comply with applicable regulations, internal policies, and the company’s Code of Ethics, maintaining proper documentation for internal and external audits, as well as government inspections. Additionally, performs regular freight rate analyses, monitoring market trends to support strategic decision-making and maintain the competitiveness of logistics operations.
