Electro-mechanic

Main Functions

  • Set-up, install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment;
  • Trouble shoot and repair AC - DC circuits, and various electrical devices;
  • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration programs, and keep maintenance records;
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of assembly of a part, machine, or piece of equipment;
  • Electrical knowledge related to hydraulic and pneumatic control circuits;
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and HACCP principles;
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures;
  • Must be able to follow instructions.

Technical skills

Required

  • Experienced with Programming and troubleshooting flow-meters, PH meters, turbidity meters, level indicators, transmitters and sensors
  • License or diploma with a specialization in electrical, mechanical or instrumentation and controls

An asset

  • Operate metalworking machine, and welding
  • Knowledge of Endress-Hauser instruments and controls

General criteria

Required

  • Comfortable in a plant environment
  • Ability to lift 25 kg
  • Driver's license
